This luxurious, 3 bedroom detached show home was located in a beautiful spot on the South East coast. Part of a development of 16 exclusive properties, it was targeted towards affluent families who were looking to upscale their home.
The Layout
The property was spacious, featuring a semi-open plan living and kitchen area, which included space for a large dining table. The integrated kitchen featured ultra modern, high gloss units. Upstairs the property boated 3 double bedrooms and a large bathroom. The rooms were generously sized, and had a very clean, modern feel to them.
The Brief
Our client wanted the show home to appeal to affluent families, who were searching for a modern property in a quiet location. The colour palette was to be kept clean and minimal, with luxurious touches and a high end finish. Despite the luxury element, our client was keen for the interior design to be contemporary rather than traditional.
The Interior Design
We kept the colour scheme light and clean with whites and greys. To complement the kitchen units, we used white, high gloss furniture in the open plan living and dining area. This really opened up the space and reflected lots of natural light. The furniture was clean and sleek, with hidden handles and a low height. In contrast, we used luxe velvet sofas to bring in some texture, depth and warmth, as we didn’t all that white to appear cold and unfriendly. Upstairs, we used the same colour palette, although we also incorporated stylish nautical elements, a subtle nod to this coastal location.
